Wildlife Prairie Park is home to only animals who are native to the Midwest region. Many of the animals at the Park were rescued and could not be released back into the wild. We have a 1.5 trail that will take you all through the woods to see these creatures in their natural environment. The park also includes disc golf, biking, hiking, fishing, and even a gift shop.

This isn't your average museum! Your visit begins with a virtual ride in the bed of a massive two-and-a-half story Cat 797F Mining Truck. Learn all about Catepillar began with family friendly learning activities.

Do you enjoy bird watching or hiking? Forest Park Nature Center is for you! Forest Park Nature Center is over 500 acres of nature preserve featuring trails, a natural history museum & a bird observatory.

This park lets visitors explore its 500,000 gallon water tower via a glass elevator and displays an amazing view, 200 feet above Peoria Heights. The park also features a beautiful water fountain, children's playground, pavilion, multiple tables for enjoying a lunch, and a bronze monument of Abraham Lincoln.

Whenever you choose to visit, the PlayHouse features six permanent exhibits and a wide variety of programs for children of all ages. Those exhibits include the Sand Porch, Peoria Then and Now, Motion Commotion, Family Farm, By your River Gently Flowing Illinois, and All Construction Great and Small.

Whether you love to garden or just appreciate the beauty of various flora from around the globe, Luthy Botanical Garden is the spot for you. This 5 acres of public greenery & flowers with themed areas, a conservatory, concerts & a gift shop is delighted.

This beautiful park is perfect for families. With a disc golf park, two big slides, a giant sandbox, the kiddy coral, and even a swimming pool!

The Discovery Depot Museum provides an engaging atmosphere for both children and families to learn in an exciting way. The 6,000 square foot facility includes exhibits like the Ferris Villiage, Art Studio, a large scale Lite Bright, and even an air maze.

Wheels O' Time is a quirky antique museum displaying collector autos, trains, airplanes, tools, toys and more! One of the most interesting exhibits is their life-sized Barbershop Quartet of former presidents!
